Attorney Profile

I represented my first client in a Social Security Disability case more than 25 years ago. Securing a dependable source of income and medical insurance made such a difference in her life that it led me to continue to represent people whose applications for Social Security Disability Benefits (SSD), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Aid to the Permanently and Totally Disabled (APTD) have been denied.

Over the years, I have also represented many clients before judges and juries in state and federal courts. This courtroom experience has helped me more effectively represent people in disability assistance cases, in which the outcome often depends on developing or challenging evidence provided by medical or vocational experts at administrative hearings.

I have also represented many clients in state and federal appellate courts, from the New Hampshire Supreme Court to the United States Supreme Court. This work, too, has helped me more effectively represent clients in disability assistance cases, in which the final level of appeal consists of preparing written briefs for submission to a state or federal court.

For the past fifteen years, I have maintained my own law office. Every case has received my personal attention, from the initial interview to the conclusion of the case. I would be happy to consult with you at no cost to see if I can be of assistance. If I am not able to represent you, I will refer you to other lawyers who specialize in Social Security Disability cases to see if they may be able to help.
